Hello!

I’m Hanna Yoon and I’m a writer with 8 years of video game development and TV production experience, nearly all of which has been Narrative focused. In that time, I’ve acquired a broad range of skills in QA, Production, and of course, Narrative.

My work can be seen in God of War (2018), where I was the lead Narrative QA Analyst. I was responsible for ensuring story comprehension, especially from a progression standpoint and would track any inconsistencies or plot holes that would later be collated and shared with the writers.

In God of War: Ragnarok (2022), I maintained the script and acted as an assistant to the Game Director, which involved attended meetings for every department. This gave me a unique understanding in how every branch of game development is intertwined. I was also given the opportunity to share ideas on how to further enrich the world of God of War, some of which made it into the game.

I pivoted to TV in 2022 and worked as a Script Coordinator for BRON Digital, where I worked on several animated TV shows. This gave me an even greater understanding in the numerous ways stories develop and change over the course of a production. I assisted with anything script related, from keeping things updated to doing rewrites as needed.

In 2016, I graduated from the University of Nevada — Las Vegas with a degree in Psychology.

Outside of reading, writing, and gaming, I enjoy painting miniatures, cooking, and getting really excited when it rains… I was born and raised in Los Angeles; it’s quite the event out here.

Thank you for stopping by!

Fun Fact: My cat provided some of the meows for Spider Cat in Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
